Fighting fires after Hurricane Katrina passed through the New Orleans Metro area became tricky and exhausting as hydrants became useless and drafting from canals, flooded streets, and tanker trucks became status quo. Around 2pm on August 30th, firefighters responded to a fire in which these tactics had to be employed. The following pictures were taken by a JPFD member.
